Wall piece created for a solo exhibition of same name, and incorporating artworks in various media by seven other LGBTQ+ artists.
Made in response to an incidence of hate speech in my own front yard, Counterspell simultanesouly announced a desire for protection, and held space for this capacity.
The artists who contributed work for this project are Lilith Smith, Clay McLaurin, John Folsom, David Robinson, Jonathan Bouknight, Geof Teague, and Robert Lansden.
